Who is Embodiyou?
Our Founder
Rebecca Bee Bromberg
I am an entrepreneur, author, consultant, teacher of yoga, meditation and mindfulness and dedicated geek to all things healing-related.
I am the creator of Embodiyou, a virtual community where you can heal, connect, learn and grow. Embodiyou offers community connection, meditation, and the chance to heal and grow alongside other like-minded and like-hearted individuals.
I take a holistic approach to my work as a somatic healing coach, helping individuals thrive at the top of their potential. I set each individual client up for success by bringing them back to the strength of their own resources. I share my integrative approach in my upcoming book Faith Under Water: A Guidebook for Rising.
I am a Reiki Master Practitioner and am trained at Level 1 in Hakomi, a somatic, mindfulness-based healing modality that works with the wisdom of the body to lead you along your healing path. I bring these practices together with coaching to help you heal, grow, expand and fly.
I love witnessing the process of transformation in individuals. I am honored to support the success of others and amazed to call it my job.
My poems and essays on mindfulness have been published online with elephantjournal.com and have written over 100 blog articles that reflect my healing mindset (www.yogamusingsblog.wordpress.com) and also post photography, poetry and prose on Instagram regularly (@rebeccabeecoaching).
Our History
Embodiyou was conceived shortly after the presidential election of 2016, the moment a divisive political climate was revealed more fully for the first time.
The science of how this kind of trauma affects the nervous system and our ability to emotionally regulate ourselves is more widely known than ever, and more and more ancient practices have been verified by current research to make a difference in our wellbeing.
Since that time, the problems of a divided and divisive culture have only worsened, and loneliness statistics have been on the rise as our use of technology has created more separation, isolation and suffering.
embodiyou was born out of an identified need to positively affect culture, to reconnect us to our spirits, and to heal through connection with that spirit and with one another.
Our Vision
Embodiyou is a compassionate online community where you can learn, practice, heal and connect. Show up for yourself, show up for others, and watch how you transform.
Embodiyou envisions a culture of compassion, where our joy is easily accessed and our suffering is met with nonjudgmental support, kindness and connection.
You’ll get out what you put in: the embodiyou practices work if you keep returning to them each day and week.
We are authentic, peaceful, responsible and loving. We do better, together.
