Mary Hammerstein, MAT, E–RYT 500, YACEP, has studied and taught yoga worldwide. She teaches froma place of joy, encouraging each student to connect with their own bliss. Mary holds a Masters Degree in Secondary Education and is a 300–hour Akhanda Yoga teacher and is a lead philopsphy and methodology teacher for yoga teacher trainings with Himalayan yoga master Yogrishi Vishvketu in Rishikesh, India. A former Kripalu residential volunteer, Mary has certificates in Kripalu Yoga (200 hours) and Kundalini Yoga (200 hours), restorative yoga and serves as a teacher for Butler Hospital’s Wellness For 2 Study researching the ways prenatal yoga can help women with depression.
